Who Am I?
I write deeply moving stories about the quiet complexities of family, love, and the brave choices we make to heal.
As a mother and grandmother with a large, beautifully blended family, I have spent a lifetime observing the delicate threads that connect us—and learning what happens when they break. Family dynamics are rarely simple. They are woven from shared laughter, hidden heartaches, and different versions of the same memories. It is within these raw, human spaces that my writing finds its home.
When I am not at my desk or getting lost in a good book, you can almost always find me near the ocean. Listening to the rhythm of the waves has always been my place of solace, grounding, and inspiration.
Just like the shifting tides, family connections can pull away, leaving a quiet, echoing space behind.
My debut work explores that very silence—and the enduring love that remains when the shore changes.
My Debut Work
From Nanny to Nobody is a story born from the silence of grandparent estrangement.
There was a time when my world was full of little footsteps, bright voices, and three beautiful grandchildren who knew me simply as Nanny. For four precious years, I was part of their everyday lives—the preschool pickups, the sleepovers, the Christmas magic. Their toys and books are still waiting. And so am I.
This is not a story about blame. It is a story about different memories, unanswered questions, regret, love, and the longing to be heard. Most of all, it is a testament to a love that never disappeared. One day, I was their Nanny. And then… I became nobody. But I am still their Nanny. And I always will be.
